Amenity details from City of Ottawa open data (Jun 2022).

A boarded rink alongside a puddle means hockey and easy free skating can happen side by side, and the permanent lights keep both going well after dark. The community building on site — washrooms and a place to lace up — makes it somewhere you can settle in for a while rather than skate and run, with volunteers looking after the ice and someone on hand while it's open. Note that the site isn't wheelchair accessible.
