Amenity details from City of Ottawa open data (Feb 2019).

The boarded surface and the adjacent puddle rink mean hockey and plain skating laps can happen side by side without anyone getting in the way. With permanent lights, city-maintained ice and someone on duty, it holds up as an after-dinner stop, and the change hut gives you somewhere to lace up — though there's no washroom, so plan for that before you come.
