Boards go up each season and the lights stay on, so this one works for evening pickup hockey as easily as an afternoon skate. There's no building here — no washroom, no place to change or warm up — so lace up at the car and dress for the whole visit. The ice is looked after by volunteers in the community rather than city crews, and no one's on site supervising.
