Boards go up for the season and the lights stay on, so this one works for evening shinny as much as a daytime skate. It's a puddle rink kept up by neighbourhood volunteers, meaning the ice follows the weather and whoever's out with a hose that week. Nothing on site to warm up in — come dressed and lace up at the car.
