The approved hill is the gentle west-side slope — a short, gradual run that suits younger kids more than anyone chasing speed. With no lights and no parking, plan on walking over from nearby and going while it's still light out, and steer clear of the north hill, where trees at the bottom and a walking path crossing it put it off limits.
